New router raise sync, but profile stays the same

Since changing my Vigor 2600G for a Netgear DGN2200, the line is now syncing at a higher rate, (could be the highest, I don't know) even though it was interleaved due to electrical interferrence a year or so ago (found it was a treadmill, so got rid), so would I expect my line profile and interleaving staus to change ?

The two sets of stats are
Old Stats
and
New Stats

That appears to still be on an old ADSL MAX service (8128/448) Which shouldl give a BRAS of 7.5mbit.


Looks like your connecting with G.DMT still - so you either have not been uplifted onto 21CN. Your on a 12dB margin and it looks like the line should be good for anything upto about 18mbit on ADSL2+ (Subject to DLC etc)

If you have been uplifted onto the 21CN service you need to select 'Multi mode' for the modulation type (Easiest)

You also may want to look at using PPPoA as your router is reporting PPPoE which will want a lower MTU.

Nothing will change for weeks if you leave it to DLM - best thing to do will be give Tech Support a call ask them to reset your noise margin back to the default 6dB, and interleaving off (If you think your line is good with no interference/noise)

You can also check with them or via the portal if your on a 21CN service or an old service still.

AFAIK the 21N rfs for the exchange is 31 March, and I am still on a maxADSL product at the moment. I just wondered if the maxADSL 6500 profile will rise on its own, or do I have to ask support to do it ?

It's now gone up to adsl7150

Still getting a ping of 101 though, so I think I'm still interleaved, but I don't know if it would more harm than good, asking for it to be removed ?

After all, 7150 is not to be sniffed at

Even with interleaving on your ping should only be about 40-60ms
