Should I upgrade to ADSL2+?

I want to know if its worth me upgrading from ADSL to ADSL2+. My Downstream stats are:

Connection Speed: 5568 kbps
Line Attenuation: 40 db
Noise Margin: 15db

If its worth the upgrade, what kind of speed would I expect to get?

You may pull an extra 1-3mb out the line with a 40db looploss, or you may see more than that as you have a high SNR Margin.

Is your line intermittent at the moment? If not you can also regrade back to the 8000 product if you have any issues.

I think the line is reasonably stable. I am getting a Billion 7800N router tomorrow, which is supposed to improve your SNR and give slightly more speed. I suppose if it does that it would make it even more worthwhile to do the switch.

Judging by your current stats, no. But it can drop.

No. As long as you are on the 21CN platform.

So essentially I have nothing to lose by trying the upgrade as I can downgrade again and it all costs nothing. Great!

Upstream speeds will improve too.

You are syncing a little low for 40dB attenuation I would suggest, but only by about 1Meg. If your hardware will let you force the various ADSL, ADSL2 and ADSL2+ modes if the ADSL2+ mode proves unstable then drop back to ADSL2
