A relative took a call from Talk Talk this afternoon asking for the Cardholder. Just as well she wasn't as I understand they wanted to take our phone from BT and Broadband from Zen. Can anyone from Zen see if there is a cease on the line because I think some sharp practice is being involved here. They said they would ring back but asking for card details is a bit worrying. Hope they don't slam the line and bill us later.

That maybe but we certainly get a lot of junk mail from Talk Talk one was even addressed to the dog!

They are bound to get a bit desparate.
Virgin (ADSL) => Namesco => Newnet => O2 => Plusnet => Zen => Newnet => Zen Lite 8000

Out of interest, did the rep on the phone indicate that they knew your broadband service was provided by Zen or not?

It's stories like this that make me wish all phones had a button that allowed you to reach over and choke the person calling you.
Did Talktalk provide any details of an account or application number? It could, for all we know, have been a prankster trying to get card details and just using a large well-heard of name to do it?
