BBC website

Hi Guys,

Are any of you seeing tremendous persistent packet loss to the BBC website at all times of the day....

Usual question, you knew it was coming, what does a pathping (since hop 8 is shy pathping doesn't proceed) tracert say? Whereabouts is it happening?

If I use ping plotter to ping www.bbc.co.uk it pings to a different IP than the one you posted. A couple of hops don't respond, but the link is good at around 30ms.

Then on the IP you posted I get a single hop which doesn't respond to pings, and another (132.185.255.148) which showed a couple of dropped packets.

It started behaving itself shortly after I made the above post but it's back to usual now:

BE are claiming it's a problem within the BBC network but seem to be the only ISP affected.. I'll give them a couple of weeks, then I'll have had enough. 17 seconds average to load every single BBC webpage is no joke!
