At a guess the local copy of the record in your DNS cache has expired and been recached.

Thats why I disabled the DNS client service on Windows as I used to get this a lot.

Virgin (ADSL) => Namesco => Newnet => O2 => Plusnet => Zen => Newnet => Zen Lite 8000
