FON and Zen

I would like to log on to FON from my O2 HTC Desire phone; there seems to be many BTFON sites where I go.

If I purchase this:-

Can I simply plug into my own router and then log into BT FON sites when on the move with my phone?

Has anyone any experience of using this.

Yes but remember if anyone uses the FON hotspot that you plugged in, their usage will count against your Zen usage.
