BT Infinity site says I can order now...

My cabinet is operational, and the Infinity web site says I can get 72.5Mb down and 20.0Mb up - is there a time lag before Zen are informed? When will Zen contact me?

I just placed an order on the customer portal and it went through fine. Selected a provisional install date and Zen contacted me with an alternative.

I had it installed yesterday - one thing is I ordered the 80 / 20 service but BT installed the 40 / 10 service.

I called Zen as the engineer left and they are having to regrade me to 80 / 20.

This regrade hasnt appeared on my cstomer portal so im a bit in the dark as to when it will finally happen.

Due to get mine upgraded tomorrow so really excited.

Currently only get 3mb/s on a good day so anywhere near 69mb/s predicted will be fantastic result.

I would hazard a guess that if you are predicted 69 meg you will get the full 78 meg, we will see tomorrow!

My Openreach chap is arriving on 6th June - hope to improve my present 3.4 to 72Mbps. I can remember 2.4Kbps dialup back in the early 90s - this will be 30,000 times faster. Blimey!

Well BT chap has done the fibre broadband. Had a little problem at green cabinet but all well now.

Current d/l speed is just over 74mb/s and upload 17mb/s so I am just so happy!

Downloaded a game - 3.3Gb. Would have taken me about 3hrs before - took me 9mins !

Cab went in at the end of last year - available date was 31st March .... then 31st June .... now 30th September!

They say patience is a virtue!

Do BTW "available" stats include cabs just sitting there with no connections?
