Poor speeds and ~10% packet loss since last night

On Zen 21CN ADSL2+ in Coventry (HIGHWAY exchange).

ADSL line that's been reliable as clockwork and consistently above 11Meg on speedtests for years is now reduced to 400k...

Modem reports no ATM CRC errors and sync rate etc look about same as usual (12dB profile and has been for years).

Anyone else?

Er sorry I should say that packet loss is occurring at first hop which appears to be : 62.3.83.20

Apologies for the late reply. If its the first hop and not cascading I would not worry about it too much.

Did you call in to support at all?

Yes, have now contacted support an a fault has been raised. Definitely not a Zen problem. Thanks for following up.

Turned out to be a problem on the BT network according to the information sent back from BT to Zen and subsequently put on the fault ticket, although BT did not say precisely where (DLSAM or further back).

Anyway, Zen technical support were brilliant - once it was escalated, Zen spoke to BT and the problem was resolved in a couple of hours.
