Can anyone on Zen Home Talk phone service advise if 0800 calls are free of charge?
Sorry to appear dim but I have scoured the Zen web site and am finding it hard to find.
Thanks.

Code of Practice for Zen Home Talk: Number Translation Services (NTS) (Special Services)
NTS calls are calls to numbers defined as Special Services by Ofcom (http://www.ofcom.org.uk/telecoms/ioi /numbers/numbers_administered/) for example, numbers starting with 0845, 0844, 0870 as well as 0500 and 0800 Freecall numbers. We give details of prices for calls made to these numbers in our Price List and whether or not they are included in any of our discount packages. But they don't!
Mr Zen, Time you obeyed your own Code of Practice? Your custs do not have these prices in writing.
1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC

Hi,
I have raised this to our product manager and this is going to be rectified so that its displayed that free phone numbers 0800 & 0500 are free to call from a Zen phone line.

That's the VOIP price list. We were home talking Zen Home Talk. But even the Business Talk has no business talking about Freecall.

Might have known I would be wrong, but not stupid enough to think 0800 are chargeable.

I suggest that the Warning about NOT routing Emergency Calls across ZEN's VOIP Network should be given prominently at the TOP of that List, not lost at the bottom., where few will venture!

That wasn't the point! The point was that it was not documented so that OP had to ask. Are you saying OP is stupid?

Is there a definitive list of these details as the pop up on the website when you buy the product states
"Add unlimited anytime minutes to 01, 02, 03, 0845 & 0870 numbers for only £6.61 (inc VAT) per month"
which conflicts with the voip costs previously mentioned in the thread http://www.zen.co.uk/business/voice/voip/broadband-v...
