Re: Zen Fibre Regrade - Activation Time

Thanks David, my stats are missing this, so G.INP is definitely off on my line at the moment.

I've added a little string to my graph to capture this - it now shows -G.INP if it's absent and +G.INP if present - simply by searching for the existence of any string matching Python regex r'\bG\.INP\b' in the "xdslcmd info --show" output.

Well well well.

Had a re-sync a couple of days ago, downstream sync changed from 39998 to 40000. However, I did not notice that there is now a little '+' sign on my speed test graphs.

That means G.INP has been re-applied to my line, after around 2 and a half months since downgrading to 40/10 FTTC from 80/20, when it was removed.

Surprising. I was not expecting this to happen, given the headroom the line now has. So seems they are pushing this feature out regardless.

as I understand it g.inp will be the default on DS for all lines.
It will default on US for lines deemed to have compatible equipment (Not sure how they doing this)
Fast path will be default on US for lines with incompatible equipment.

Many people are reporting (even with hg612 devices) that g,inp appears on the DS only first and then US sometime later.
