pppd:LCP: timeout sending Config-Requests message :: Zen Internet

Came home tonight and went to watch something on demand on my Roku stick but found it couldn't connect to the Internet.

Checked the router, DSL sync was on so logged in to it.

Had the following message repeating over and over for several minutes before the router gave up

pppd:LCP: timeout sending Config-Requests

Clicked connect in the router and waiting for 5 minutes and nothing happened.

Ended up rebboting to ger back online.

Anyone know what the cause of these are and how to fix them.
