Vdsl outages today Monday 14th September

Anybody else having connection problems with zen this afternoon?

The service has been down far more than its been online. Anyone else suffering with this?

which area ? I had issue in kentish town Camden area Thursday the 3rd of this month, I think it's an issue with Zen services as other isps ver ok in the area.

I'm in south Lincolnshire, fibre cabinet is connected back to the Sleaford exchange.

My girlfriend who is with Plusnet and connected to the exact same cabinet as I am has had no such problems, her vdsl connection was rock solid at the times I was suffering.

I'm currently unsure if it's Zen or my own router causing the issue, I have a cable router connected to a BT modem.
I've noticed since Monday my router is still disconnecting and reconnecting on a regular basis, it last did it around 7am this morning. So I've ordered a brand new router and going to see how that goes before going back to Zen.

Well, I received my new router today, have just installed it and going to see from there.

I was still having constant disconnections so could well be my old cable router, fingers crossed this works, will report back in a few days.

Apart from PPPOE being terminated around 4am today everything ok, up to now for me

Just thought I'd reply one last time to this thread and give a final update.

It would appear it was my old router that caused the problems, new one been installed about 48 hours or so and has been rock solid so far.

Hopefully things will stay this way.
