What Router are Zen sending out now (FTTC)

As the title, could someone let me know, I'm off contract with Sky using the Q Router that is useless unless the device is hard wired. Sky aren't interested and their CS facebook messenger security is so stupid, I couldn't answer the security question as I didn't have what it asked me for. FB CS gave me a 0330 number to call Sky CS that cost me £8 and all the guy did was check my router settings and get me to send photos of it.

Should be the FRITZ!Box 3490 supplied with both ADSL/VDSL services.

ISP's:
Zen: 6mb down - .7mb up

Agreed. It's the only one currently listed on the Zen web site.

It is the Fritz!Box 3490.

Unfortunately it has serious packet loss problems

BT (poor) -> Zen (excellent) -> O2 (started well, went downhill -> IDNet (No complaints - but 100GB cap) -> Zen (unlimited-and now ipv6!l) but huge packet loss

Zen sent me a 'free' Fritzbox 3490 when I upgraded to the recently available FTTC.

Unfortunately, it will not support an 8 IP block, so I have purchased a DrayTek 2860 and a Draytek 130 modem for the other line (still ADSL). I was not impressed with the Fritz in other respects either.

Both work together perfectly and the 2860 has a superb range of facilities, which can be applied to either, or both, lines.



Line One:- Zen Fibre 1 - DrayTek Vigor 2860ac
Line Two:- Andrews and Arnold - DrayTek Vigor 130 Modem

Hi, I can confirm the FRITZ!Box 3490 is NOT out of stock. That's an old link.

Hi, The FRITZ!Box 3490 does support routed IP for customers who have 8 or more IP addresses.

It think I should have said:-
It will not support multiple open ports on multiple IP addresses, the way all my DrayTek routers do.

And the Drayteks will let me use any or all of eight addresses. (nine adresses on the 2860, with my A&A address included)
