Zen Fibre 4 speed profile

Hi all,
I moved to a new FTTP enabled flat in Sept 2018 where I ordered Zen's 150/30 "Unlimited Full Fibre 3" package. After a year I regraded to Zen's 330/50 package where there was an initial issue with the profile not being changed by Openreach(?). I appear to be limited to a 30 Mbps upload speed and Zen's tech support can't seem to find a problem - tried various router and speed tests and still no different.

The only service I see in DSLchecker is WBC FTTP 1000/220. My fritzbox is configured to Throughput: ​↓ 337,9 Mbit/s ↑ 51,2 Mbit/s.

Do you think I'm being fobbed off by Zen's tech support and there is a problem with the profile I'm on? I expected closer to 50Mbps upload.

Does look like a profile issue, very rare upload would get speed problems

When you say configured to throughput. Do you mean some kind of rate limit/QoS?

What happens if you connect a computer directly to the ONT and dial up with a PPPoE session and run the test there. Does the throughput change?

I can configure the throughput on the router. Zen just asked me to make sure it was set to those speeds which would reflect 330/50 but my upload is limited at 30. I wonder if the profile 330/50 isnt enabled for me.

Can you try a hard-wired test to the ONT instead, completely removing the router from the setup.

You'll need to setup a dial up connection using PPPoE and your usual login details. Re-run the test a few times and see what speeds you get.

You thinking a limitation on the WAN port?

It wouldn't be the first time that "odd" throughput has been seen due to the device connected to the ONT and when directly tested on the ONT, it works as expected.

Could be limitation, or a setting.

Im not very familiar with FTTP, I have never supported it
