It's often more common to see negative posts, so just wanted to post something positive.
Tuesday morning we woke up to the broadband dropping every few minites. Turns out there was lots of crackling and pops on the line, loud enough to hear even without doing a quiet line test.
Rang Zen, got through straight away, and spoke to with someone who booked an Openreach engineer for Thursday morning. Ended up needing a second engineer to visit who showed up in the afternoon.
Now the line has been fixed with no connection drops for almost 48 hours.
I didn't expect them to be able to get someone out so quickly and when the first engineer said someone else would need to come out, I expected another day or two of delay. Getting it all sorted in two days on a residential plan seems pretty good.
I think some Zen staff are monitoring this forum, so please pass on my thanks to your front-line support staff.
