Are Zen sales usually [censored]?

[link to this post]

I'm interested in getting an upgrade to fibre. Sent an email to [email protected] back in January I think it was with a couple of questions. Absolutely no reply. I want to use email to have a record of the dialogue.

Tried again last week and similar story - no reply at all (at least not so far).

My business has actually been a Zen customer for many years for both broadband and hosting, but really starting to wonder if it's not time to move.

Hi, if you PM me your details I'll look into what's happened and ensure one of the sales team get back to you ASAP.

You are unlikely to get a reply to an email to Zen

David

BT (poor) -> Zen (excellent) -> O2 (started well, went downhill -> IDNet (No complaints - but 100GB cap) -> Zen (gone downhill)

Yes it does seem that way. In that case, why on earth display a [email protected] email address if no-one is monitoring the mailbox? Bizarre!

This is the reason I would never go with Zen. They never reply via support or sales email. Not good not enough Zen. They seem more expensive on FTTC than Plusnet but PN always answer my tickets. Zen just don't care. When I call them on their phone they suggest me to email instead but what the point if they never reply!

PN are better option for me than Zen.

Just to add another data point, I emailed Zen's support address some months ago and they replied reasonably promptly, but I've no experience of what's happened to their responsiveness since then.

Since there have been several negative comments, I wonder if the Zen representative in this forum could comment further?

I've mailed support plenty of times and also always got a prompt response, although not had to this year.(It's been good responses as well smile )

Sales - appalling. Mailed them asking about City Fibre and no response at all. That was in December.
