Unable to access site through Zen

[link to this post]

Hi,
I am unable to access https://www.botleychoral.co.uk/ then using my Zen connection, but can access the site using my mobile through O2.

Zen's suggestion is to do a factory reset of my router, but before I do that, can anyone out there with Zen connect?

Regards

David

BT (poor) -> Zen (excellent) -> O2 (started well, went downhill -> IDNet (No complaints - but 100GB cap) -> Zen (gone a long way downhill)

My gateway is lo0-0.bng4.thn-lon.zen.net.uk [2a02:8010::15b]
and works ok to your site using IPV6

Assuming you are connecting via a PC have you tried the usual things like using a different browser or switching off the Windows firewall and disabling any adblockers.

Can you successfully ping / mtr / traceroute to the website when connected via Zen?

Poor advice from Zen to reset the router for a single site issue.

Start with the basics;

What DNS server(s) are you using? If something like OpenDNS, the site might have been blocked by a category.
Any other blocklists in use, like PiHole dns server?
Can you resolve the site from the command line? nslookup, dig.
If using windows, it has a very handy test command in powershell;

run powershell and then this command; "Test-NetConnection www.botleychoral.co.uk -p 443"
It will ping the site and attempt a connection to port 443 (https).

One of the above should narrow it down to site filtering, routing or dns.

Amjad.
