FritzBox! 7530 Power Adaptor

[link to this post]

Good Evening,

Just a quick question. Does anyone on here use a FritzBox! 7530? If you do would you be able to take a picture of the power adaptor? I have a 7530 and I moved and somewhere in my stuff is the correct power adaptor, but I have no idea what adaptor to use. Ideally need a pic of the side the plug slides into so I can see who makes it and maybe what model it is.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

CJT.

This is a picture of the adapter plugged in: http://prntscr.com/bBtiMYiVAYCl

It is a long rectangular adapter, rather than square, and has a small rectangle shape imprinted in the plastic, with nothing written on it, nearest the end where the DC cable comes out to go in to the Fritzbox 7350

I don't want to unplug it as it may cause my broadband speed to drop further. laugh . If you REALLY need a shot of the plug side, I might consider unplugging it from my power strip on my desk to get a photo.

The label on the back of the 7530 lists the manufacturers compatible supplies, e.g.

311POW128,
311POW167,
311POW168
along with icons for DC, centre positive plug, and the rating 12V 1,5A

If you can't find the matching adapter any 12V DC adapter with a suitable connector which can provide at least the specified current is fine.

Thank you, I wouldn’t want your connection to be adversely affected.

Hopefully I can find it

Thank you, I never feel comfortable using a 3rd party adapter with those kind of electronics.

Just ring Zen and tell them the adapter has died, I'm sure they'll send you a replacement,

Virgin (ADSL) => Namesco => Newnet => O2 => Plusnet => Zen => Newnet => Zen => Freeola => Vivaciti (using O2 Wholesale DSL) => Xilo (C&W Wholesale) => Xilo (O2 Wholesale) => Xilo (TT Wholesale due to O2 Wholesale closure) => Zen LLU =>> ZeN FTTP (Openreach 300 Mbps down, 47 Mbps up)
Router: Fritzbox 7530

Hi techguy I would except I didn't get the router from the I got it off e-Bay, hence hoping someone on here has one and can take a clear pic or two of the power supply.

I e-mailed AVM (via the web page) but have heard nothing back.
