New Zen customer, Static IP & VPN?

Hello all, I recently signed up for Zen FTTP and saw that the IP address was Static and was wondering if i could still use a VPN like normal. It's my first time having a static IP as my other provider is dynamic, I was wondering if it would work the same as normal & just open the app on my pc and connect to a server and it changes my IP.

I'm on Zen with a static IP, and VPN (NordVPN) works fine. I can also VPN into my LAN from outside, which is much easier with a static IP than with a dynamic one.
