Annex A or B?

[link to this post]

Hi all,
Just a quick one - I'm on Fibre 2 / FTTC with a Fritz!Box 7530, should I use Annex A or B in line settings?

Cheers

Annex just means part of a document/standard.
In the case of FTTC (VDSL2) it can be confusing as there's 2 Annex's often referenced, from different technical documents.

There's the physical network Annex. In the UK we use PSTN which is Annex A.
In Germany they use ISDN which is Annex B.

Openreach uses an Annex B bandplan over Annex A infrastructure.

The Fritzbox is asking for the physical infrastructure Annex (Annex A).
Though the connection statistics for most modems will show you connected to Annex B (referencing the bandplan used).
