Using Eero with Fritz Box

[link to this post]

If I have a Fritzbox from Zen can I turn off WiFi and use my eero that has WiFi 6 instead?
I am doing that with my BT Smart Hub 2 at present but I plan on moving over to Zen.

I guess you've tried this by now..

If it helps, I'm using a Fritz!Box 7530 currently for my internet connection (FTTP, PPPoE, Giganet over openreach). It also services wired clients via switches.

My (single) eero 6E is connected in bridge mode, and is used for wifi since that is the *one* thing the eero works well for.

This combinations works fine.

I do currently have a second fritzbox (setup in mesh) serving 2.4Ghz on a different SSID purely to connect a camera/car
And finally the main 7530 currently has it's 5Ghz active on the main SSID at minimum power (7%?). Nothing ever connects to it, it was just to make it easier when the eero box was rebooting/being reconfigured. But it's not needed.
