Zen - service activation time ?

[link to this post]

How long from clicking the buy button on Zen to getting a working service ?

Planning to abandon BT Business, I was a residential BT customer with Plusnet Business broadband.

BT cannot activate my long standing phone number so I am moving, just curious how long I need to wait.

The BT number I consider lost and now do not want a digital phone.

For residential I was quoted 10-14 days.

CJT.

Currently on TalkTalk Fibre 150

Previously on NOW TV Broadband up to 38 Mbps, then BT Broadband up to 80Mbps, then Pluse8 Broadband up to 80 Mbps, then Hyperoptic 100Mbps.

I know they do this for the cooling off period however the wholesale side lets us do it in 1 -7 depending on the operator and technology e.g. FTTP on BT over Openreach can be provisioned next day if an ONT is already in place and a port available.
My address is 1 working day for BTW, Vodafone,
SOGEA is normally around 5 days
MPF on TT around 13

In my case ZEN doesn't have capacity so isn't an option and neither is TT's faster tiers.

I know residential operators can push it faster if you know who to call, I had my IDNet ordered on Saturday and service live Sunday afternoon with a new cable pull and ONT fitted.

Many Thanks,

To be clear, are you claiming that you placed an order on a Saturday and got an Openreach FTTP appointment for the following day?

In my case yes, the appointment on ORs system was for a week later but I asked nicely and they did it next day.

Many Thanks,
