IPv6 missing in action

[link to this post]

My account is enabled for IPv6 and the IP addresses show up in my (Asus) router settings, and on several local devices, but https://iplocation.io/ says that IPv6 is not detected. I repowered the ONT and the router but there's no change.
Any ideas on how to resolve this before I call Zen?

Best way to resolve it is not to use iplocation.io! That is returning an "IPV6 not detected" message on my system. In contrast, both https://ipv6-test.com/ and http://v6.testmyipv6.com/ confirm that I am connecting by IPV6 and return the correct IPV6 data for my connection. My IPV6 BQM is also recording correctly so it looks like iplocation.io is not gathering the required data.

If your router is being configured via dhcp rather than static settings you have entered and the local devices that show IPv6 settings are showing them in the right range then it is likely not a problem with Zen.

I have found that on my windows laptop my browser will not use IPv6 if it has been used at work (where there is no IPv6) unless it is rebooted (normally I just hiibernate and resume) even though windows itself shows as having the right IPv6 settings I'm not sure if it is an issue with firefox or windows - though since nothing I use is IPv6 only it isn't really an issue for me..

Ignore that website, I get the same result and I definitely have an IPv6 address.

https://test-ipv6.com/ has always worked for me.

I'm with IDNet not Zen, but when I try it, it says "IPv4: Not Detected" crazy

eta- and yes, I do have both; I'm using Chrome on a Mac, could that have anything to do with it?

I am also on IDNet (FTTC). Using https://iplocation.io/ Firefox returns the "IPV6 not detected" message while Chrome returns an "IPV4 not detected" result.

My bad, I should have said- all the other testers I've tried work fine. It's just iplocation.io that doesn't.

Haven't got FireFox, but Safari also returns "IPv4 not detected". (FTTC here too)

Firstly, check you have asked Zen to enable and they have allocated you a range
On your Asus router set following:
Connection Type: NATIVE
Interface : PPP
DHCP-PD - Enable
Accept Default Route - Enable
Release Prefix on Exit - Enable
WAN Prefix Length: 48
Auto Configuration Setting: Stateless
Connect to DNS Server automatically - Enable if using theirs, Disable if you have your own
Enable Router Advertisement: Enable
