Currently I’m out of contract with BT, who supply my broadband (FTTP) and [Digital Voice] phone line, and want to move my broadband to Zen, and cancel the phone line. I can, of course, cancel the phone line via BT but there are many reports saying that doing this puts you back into contract (thereby resulting in possible charges when moving to Zen).
So, can Zen cancel my phone line whilst migrating my broadband from BT or can they only ‘leave it behind’? If the latter, presumably, I’m still paying the BT phone line charge and then I have to cancel it separately with BT?
Nothing is ever straight forward with BT!
