Oh well, that's a lot cheaper. It's still too expensive though, an ALIX 2-2 is only £100 which is less than the difference between the Firebrick list price and the AAISP price.

edit - sorry, you need the "fully loaded" Firebrick, which is £750 as I said

The op is asking for a VDSL2 bonding router.
The firebrick doesn't do line bonding on it's own - you need another one at the ISP end.

Hi BatBoy,

I'm just looking at how to bond 2 VDSL2 lines here in New Zealand. From your comment above am I right to think that if you have 2 VDSL2 lines with separate routers and then use a Firebrick to bond them - that you also need the ISP to have a Firebrick on their end also??

Just trying to figure out how it works. I just spoke to an ISP here and they didn't mention anything about needing the connection on their end... (they might not know).

I use a MikroTik RB751G-2HnD for bonding my fiber purchased from LinITX.

Your ISP needs to configure the bonding at their end too.
