Seems that addresses on cabinets 9, 17, 24, 28, 34, 42, 50, 51, 61, 62, 63, 66, 74, 75, 76, 77, 83 are not down for fibre.
And seems cabinets 10, 29, 40 are due for FTTC March and September this year, however the remaining 58 odd cabinets have been upgraded already.
Not too sure when or if this will change in the future, its just the matter of just waiting and hoping like me
I am located in east London and I am unable to get fibre as well even though several doors from me has FTTP and has done since Oct - Dec 2011, and there seems to be a fibre node not that far from me about 200m from me, so it would be easy for them to hook us up there, maybe they will later on, who knows.
So yeah it can be frustrating.

Cheers so much guys, this is fantastic. So it feels like I basically need to make sure we have a minimum of circa 150-200 lines expressing an interest for it to really show up on BTs/Openreach's radar.
Will keep you updated!
Thanks
Paul

Hello please help.
I did contact nga enquiries ages ago and was told this
Dear Sir,
Thank you for your enquiry about fibre broadband, you are connected to St Marychurch exchange cabinet WW/SMAR 31.
This cabinet is in the Openreach fibre broadband plans to be rolled. We currently intend to rollout fibre broadband as FTTP in the cabinet area. Unfortunately, as this involves the provision of a new fibre network, it will take some time before it is available. At present, the network is still in the planning stage, therefore, I would suggest writing back at the end of march next year for a progress report on the networks build progress.
If you have any further questions, please ensure you have read the FAQ's on our website, http://www.openreachfibrebroadband.co.uk/faq/ . If your question is answered within the FAQ section, we will not respond to your e-mail.
Regards
Tony Franklin

any info when fibre will go live at cabinet 11 on alloway exchange? Enabled Area
You are connected to cabinet number 11 on the Alloway exchange.
Your area is enabled for Fibre but your cabinet is not ready yet so you can't place an order today. It is in our plans to be upgraded and we update this info weekly, so please check back later.

Your cabinet is still "Under Review". This is the same where I live. Mine is under review but West Sussex BDUK are surveying at the moment for where the cab needs to be etc. this is probably the same with you. Typically, if the email dated network adjustments should be happening after March, then the surveys should be between April and June. Like me, if this happens your network should be built by the end of the year. I would be interested to know the outcome so please keep posting Info on the forum.

Hi guys - I am served by Cabinet 10 in Pentyrch (postcode CF159SN). Pentyrch exchange has gone live with Fibre and many Cabinets in the area use it. The stood up a new CAB right next to my house about 12 months ago but they have never put it live, sighting corrosion issues which they have only recently got round to resolving.
Anyway, an engineer who I saw working on it last week said he was 'programming it' and it should be ready soon. SuperfastCymru who are facilitating Fibre rollout via BT Openreach in Wales say it should be in the process of being 'tested' now (although they have told me that several times in the past few months). I am hopeful though given the engineer was 'programming it' that its not too far away.
Has anyone got any way of checking the actual status - and what does testing actually mean (who does it etc and how long does it normally take)?
Cheers!
