As long as it has a BT landline we should be able to provide service there, if you know the telephone number I can have a quick check in our ordering system to make sure.

The above post has been made by an ISP REPRESENTATIVE (although not necessarily the ISP being discussed in the post).

That's just because it's only showing the LLU suppliers at your exchange. We're not an LLU supplier so we're not showing up.

As Chris has said, as long as there's an active BT line, we'll be able to place an order.

Appreciate your time Chris, but i'm looking ahead at the mo, i'm not confirmed for the property, but hoping to be, i dont know if it has an exisiting phone BT line, the sockets certinaly are there which suggests there has been, but i'm just trying to ensure that when i move in a few weeks i can get the line up and running then put in for a move.

If you know the phone no try putting it in the adsl checker here
http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/adslchecker.php

Make sure you just put in the phone no and NOT the post code.

Whilst not 100% guaranteed as the BT DB can sometimes be a bit behind - but if its a BT line you should just get the error message

{amber} Postcode not entered. Possible reduced accuracy for some results.

On a non-BT line you will get that message
- but in section 3 BT line speed estimation you should also get

{red} No information held in the database -
There may be various reasons for this such as a new phone line or line not owned by BT.
Please try again using the post code and phone number
