The TG582n is exactly the same as for ADSL all they do is use one of the LAN ports (No.4 with a red sticker) as a WAN port. It does mean that you only have 3 ports to play with but you can easily hang a small switch off it and have extra ports available. I have a Netgear 5 port gigabit switch connected to my router at the moment wink

The FTTC one also gets a USB port. I don't think the ADSLx one has that?

I have the USP port in use for a USB network printer. It can apparently be used for a network disk but only supports FAT32 drives, not NTFS.

Just left was painless lol

Phone to say be 1/2 an hour as was at the cabinet.
Arrived did some tests on the line, installed new faceplate.
Said d/l should be around 50 mbps and upload around 8 mbps


Question should i be seeing the 50 right away?
