The TG582n is exactly the same as for ADSL all they do is use one of the LAN ports (No.4 with a red sticker) as a WAN port. It does mean that you only have 3 ports to play with but you can easily hang a small switch off it and have extra ports available. I have a Netgear 5 port gigabit switch connected to my router at the moment

The FTTC one also gets a USB port. I don't think the ADSLx one has that?

I have the USP port in use for a USB network printer. It can apparently be used for a network disk but only supports FAT32 drives, not NTFS.

Install day today, came round really quick shall report after the deed is done.

Just left was painless lol

Phone to say be 1/2 an hour as was at the cabinet.
Arrived did some tests on the line, installed new faceplate.
Said d/l should be around 50 mbps and upload around 8 mbps


Question should i be seeing the 50 right away?
