Too funny, and also some stonkingly high price rises. We're constantly looking to make improvements to our products and the services we offer you. This year that included things like a new way of billing Mammoth fail? These pricing changes will see us invest even more into giving you the broadband and phone services you deserve. I am getting increasing fed up with companies, politicians and quangos droning on about the things people "deserve".
In this case, we do not "deserve" any kind of broadband. We buy it. We are entitled to and expect to receive a good service. End of. No deserving is involved.
As for the price rises I mentioned. They look to be £2pm across the board for the broadband products. Which means their most expensive product goes up by a high 8.5%, and their cheapest product which is possibly mainly chosen by those of restricted means rises by over 21%.
What! ???
My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk. Domains, site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Three 4G, tbb tests normally 35-45Mpbs down, 65Mbps off-peak, 9-24 up.

Remember though that these broadband price increases are only for those not taking Plusnet line rental, the vast majority will be taking line rental and will only see a £1 increase if they're outside a minimum term (plus the call rates & call packages if applicable).

Thankfully I will see no increase as I am on a fixed-price contract (with a healthy discount) and LRS and I don't make any calls from the landline (except 080). When my contract is up I will look again/negotiate as usual.

Ofcom rules state caller display must be included in the price of line rental these days at least.

That's the VM business side but the came rule applies to consumer. If they're still charging you for caller display, complain loudly.

They did, but stopped charging for it when the new Ofcom rules came in.
Just checked a bill and last charge for caller display was September 2018. That was mid contract.
Caller display
With our free Caller display feature, you can see the number thats calling you so you can decide whether or not to answer.
Free service
It was only £1 a month on the FTTC bill I'm looking at. Definitely not a few quid.

Got an email from John Lewis stating that the line rental would be increasing from the 3rd of December 2019 by £2.00, currently it is £15.50 a month (including free evening and weekend calls) the ADSL broadband is £4.50 a month.
The local exchange was recently upgraded so ADSL2 and 2+ is now available however it didn't increase the download speed very much at all due to the long distance to the exchange but the upload speed has improved a bit
Edit
Just noticed, guess I'll need to change the sig
