Connection Speeds

I posted here about a drop in speed.

My connection is still only connecting at 4512 kbps. My stats are
ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 4512 kbps 448 kbps
Line Attenuation 47.0 db 28.0 db
Noise Margin 9.4 db 23.0 db

I had been getting anything up to 5.5 or 6 before. I was wondering if there was anything i can do to get it back to this level. I havent got anything else plugged in apart from the router.

Your other thread gave you 2 possible reasons.

You could ask PN to get BT to reduce your min SNR back to 6dB but this could be changed again by BT at any time if it thinks there is a problem with your connection.
