migrating to plusnet

i have been with vodafoneathome for my broadband for many a year , i have just received a letter stating that all there athome customers are been transferred to plusnet , i have never encounted and slowing down of speeds on my broadband but notice that plusnet use traffic management software , will this affect my skygo

A lot will depend on what product they move you over onto.

Did the letter say which product?

It may be you are moved but onto a special product, i.e. that performs just as current service.

SkyGo and other streaming services are prioritised on our network and should work without any issues (I personally use SkyGo quite a lot and haven't experienced any slowdowns on it).

Do you know anything about this apparent mass transfer Chris? No obvious Press Release by Vodafone.

from reading the letter it seams i will be moving to plusnet extra broadband + talk anytime.

Goog move??

When i signed up to voda, it was sold as unlimited (40 Gb FUP).I use 80-100 Gb/month.

No traffic management.

I moved from plusnet to vodafone because of slow MS updates and ISO downloads from my technet subscription.

After six months i will be charged £1for caller display.

BUT.... been looking around and £26.50 is still cheap for market 1 (http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange/SWRSO) exchange for calls, rental and >50Gb adsl.

The only other option is BT line rental saver and vivaciti Home 100,
