I'm not sure what's happened, but recently there seems to be a huge lag in webpage loading times.
I'm talking regular delays of around 1 minute to load a page up, such as BBC News homepage. It can be any website.
I've tried multiple browsers.
I've tried using LAN cable direct to router.
I've tried multiple computers.
All get same delays. I can only assume the problem is the router or the line somehow. My router plugs directly into my old style (mid 80's) BT master socket.
I don't know if these numbers are of any use, but I got these from the router control panel:
Router Stats
Can anyone suggest something to try, as it is driving me mad!
I have just noticed that the Plusnet website says my DNS servers should be as follows:
Primary DNS Server 212.159.13.49
Secondary DNS Server 212.159.13.50
Optional tertiary DNS server 212.159.6.9
But my router has the following configured:
Primary DNS: 212.159.6.10
Secondary DNS: 212.159.6.9
I'll attempt to change those if I can to see if there is any difference.
