New to PlusNet

Hi, we moved to PlusNet earlier this week from Andrews and Arnold, they where a fantastic ISP, but we where getting fed up of not being able to use the internet between 9am and 6pm.

We feared joining PlusNet because of all the traffic shaping etc, but I cannot fault it at the moment, our speed is faster than when we where with AAISP, our ping is down to under 20ms, and we can use the internet all day long and be £12 a month better off, plus our exchange is due to get FTTC on the 1st March.

Seems odd for an ISP to prevent you from using the internet during the day. That surely is the whole point of being an Internet Service Provider, unless I've missed something in the definition.

AAISP have units, and the more you use the Internet during the day, the more you pay, 15gb usage would cost about £35 compared to £11.49 with Plusnet, take a look at the AAISP website and that will explain the units
