Upload Speed on Fibre from Plusnet?

Just wondering what Upload speed is on the Fibre packages, couldn't fine any info on it when looking around the website.

its the 2meg upload but they might raise it now 80/20 is coming but at the moment its just the 2meg smile

10 Meg uploads are being trialled on the existing fibre connection speeds.

Plusnet have not said what the speeds on the 80/20 service will be but there are no limits set during the trial.

As others have said, currently it's 40/2, 40/10 will be launched when Plusnet get the billing sorted out and 80/20 is being trialled.

But if I order plusnet now will I be able to move to the 10meg upload when available or would I be locked for 18 months?

Or better to wait? Don't want to go to BT but atm there isn't much choice with fibre.

No, you would be free to change product without affecting the contract. You're not actually "locked in" anyway:

In reference to www.plus.net/residential/faqs.shtml#contractSetup:
Fibre broadband - 18 month contract: Comes with a wireless router (P&P £4.99). If you leave within 12 months, you must pay for the cost of the router (£40) and an early termination charge for each remaining month of your contract. Between 12 and 18 months, you'll just need to pay the monthly early termination charges.

I don't know about Extra Fibre, but for Value Fibre the early termination is £4pm. Somewhat less than £16.49.

You'd be able to move straight onto the 80/20 trial.

Have heard on the grapevine that Plusnet will unlock the upload speeds to 10mbps for £2 extra a month (at some point in the future). Here.
