If you bank with Barclays they give you Kaspersky (3pc 1yr) for free.

Thanks all for opinions. Looks like I will stay with Norton as it is around £25 for 3 PCs out in the market place. Its strange really but other good ones that are free don't give the same sense of security!!

re sense of security and free vs paid-for

I feel perfectly happy with free, but appreciate some feel paying money will somehow get them a better product... Doubt the product will be much different, though virus db updates may be allowed more frequently, and having better support may assist some...

Remembering back some 20 years, when Dr Solomon was a widely used product, someone (on being made redundant) decided to get the MD a free 'Virus Calendar', as the MD could feel worried about almost anything... I think there were 5 days without a possible 'attack' on, so the MD, if he did look at it, could have best part of a year in panic smile
