Hi timl,

Sorry to hear that, doesn't make for the best reading. Can you message me your username so I can get this picked up and pushed on.

I've been onto my ISP who contacted BT. Apparently the engineer had added some notes to the call which talked about there being a terrorist threat, flood or fire problem. You've got to laugh... it was a bit windy yesterday but no flood!

Just as in the other thread, linked by Robertos, the engineer was from MJ Quinns.

The ISP, obviously Plusnet, is working on getting an expedited appointment.

Well you said he sat in his van for 15 mins. Maybe he'd just had his hair done tongue.

Due for a second installation appointment for this Wednesday afternoon. Well done Plusnet and BT Openreach.

So hopefully, fingers crossed, this time it'll go according to plan.

Thanks
Tim

I'd have to agree with Roberto and Greenglide. Talk to your ISP.

Thanks

Well today was the 2nd attempt at FTTC installation. They didn't turn up. BT hadn't booked an engineer even though they'd accepted the appointment.

Now provisionally rebooked with confirmation of that appointment coming on Thursday hopefully.

Who's voting for a successful installation third time? smile
