Quick question on Line Rental Saver payment

I did search on the plusnet site to find the answer to my question but couldn't, so I thought I would ask it here:

I currently pay my monthly phone subscription via Direct Debit. If I use the Line Rental Saver option how does that get taken, in the next DD payment, in a separate DD payment or by credit card?

You can do it as a separate payment by credit card - I did. I'm not sure if it's "normal practice", though, or thanks to the efforts of the helpful Plusnet reps here. I wanted to put it through the credit card, as I've currently got an interest-free period AND points per pound spent, so everything I can goes through it.

It has to be taken by debit or credit card (or did last time I checked)

As it's a one-off payment we'd ask for it to be paid by debit or credit card.

DD is fine. I'm just trying to find out when it would be taken to ensure the money is there. By the sounds of it it would be taken separately from the normal monthly DD so I should make sure the money is there before I sign up for it?

Direct Debit is not an option - you have to give them a card detail (if there isn't one on your account already) for that one off payment

That's fine, just wanted to know so I could plan.
