In reply to a post by XRaySpeX:
He was referring to TBB's non-standard use of K = 1024 in comms speeds.

In which case 47414 Kbps = 48552 kbps = 48.552Mbps

Data rates are straightforward quantities and aren't related to binary.

Alternatively, what's Kelvin got to do with data rates? smile

As you mention earlier, Google is wrong on this one. See here

Where did I say K = 1.024k?

F = 1.8 * C + 32 and C = K - 273

Can we keep on topic please. (Not aimed at Mr saffron)
I am talking about the ppp session on the modem not the router. No router connected.

I would like it to match my speed tests Mr saffron. Going to do one soon but here is my line stats, now that my modem has been on for a few days. What do you make of them? To many errors or not? Thanks.

The TBB speed test.
http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest/results/id/1...

26/01/13 17:00:27
Speed Down 42907.30 Kbps ( 41.9 Mbps )
Speed Up 9891.51 Kbps ( 9.7 Mbps )

Does it match my stats though.
