Swear filter evasion gets the hole post deleted, if you want to ask the question again without the * word that was in the last one, you are free to do so.

26mb. We used to get 3mb with ADSL, we live out in the country away from the exchange so 26mb is the best we can get. Quite happy with it and its very stable. Hence my question about whether moving to plusnet could actually effect the line?

You should be fine. There has been an issue where people were initially provisioned on 40/10 instead of 80/20, but that wouldn't affect you and in any case it was corrected a day or two after their service activated.

Cheers. yes I did look at 80/20 free upgrade a while back but was advised that on our line at present it would not be worth trying to upgrade.
So from what you are saying Plusnet is fine and can't bug...sort damage my line and on that basis I shall enrol tomorrow. Cheers

As MrSaffron implied, it's actually a general language filter for anything the site owners deem to be unacceptable, but "swear filter" is quicker to type
