Have Plusnet Value at home as back-up to main BB service (just in case).

Came to my second annual renewal this week and was offered an *18 month* contract at £3.99 a month - it was only after I pointed out that the TV ads were offering £2.99 a month for 12 months that the retentions lady relented, though she was not happy.

Takeout is that you do need to haggle with Plusnet - esp on the length of contract

Do you also have line rental and calls with Plusnet?
