Problem with ADSL mode on 21cn service.

I had a new broadband service activated on 27/02/13

It seems Plusnet have provisioned this as a 'ADSL' service rather than 'ADSL2+' on the 21cn BT network.

I state ADSL as the router is syncing in G.DMT mode rather than ADSL2+ mode, the router is set to Multimode so should negotiate the best connection available.

I have been waiting for a week now for a simple change to be made to rectify this issue, when I chased this they said it takes a 7 days which has now passed.

I'm not sure if anyone could push this along?

If you are on a very long line ADSL might be the best you can get. What's your attenuation?

ADSL2 does better than ADSL at >70 dB attenuation.

Should be a bit more speed with adsl2+ looking at kitz checker.

Hi, that 8128 does look very much like either MaxDSL or ADSL1 on 21CN - any chance you could PM me your username and we'll get that sorted for you? Sorry about that.
