He said the line was trying to hard, no idea myself, but the d/l is still in the 40's and upload in the 8's

Three main DLM profiles on FTTC (if brain is working well)

Fast
Standard
Stable

Generally can tell if you switch between them as the interleaving and latency increases as you head towards Stable. Can imagine if giving a 'idiots guide version' you might call fast the 80 d/l

More interleaving means more error resistance and sometimes better throughput, but at expense of latency,

I can see that the DLM has been in a stabilisation period, I've just nudged our faults team to pick this up.

Thanks Chris, the upload is on the lower side but tbh it's like lighting compared to before on adsl
