From BT to Plusnet?

At the moment I am on an anytime fibre infinity 2 package.

How easy would it be to come over to PlusNet, and would I lose all the Wi-Fi opportunities? It looks as if certain packages could save me money, but not so sure as to what I might miss out on.

I currently get about 75mb d/l and 16mb u/l

How long have you been on Infinity? Bear in mind you will most likely be on an 18 month contract, with penalties for leaving early. You'll lose any BT TV packages (including the upcoming BT Sport) and also BT WiFi.

Out of interest - what has prompted you to leave BT infinity for plusnet?

I haven't jumped ship yet - been over 18 months now, but just investigating the pros and cons. I also did a 12 month line rental with BT which isn't concurrent with the fibre so I need to weight that up.

The loss of Wi-Fi might be a deal breaker though.

It would be purely financial. The fibre installation by BT was flawless - since then a gang of workmen replaced telegraph poles in the street which caused a fault (loose connection done in pouring rain!) it took two visits to rectify, but in fairness the raising of fault tickets and subsequent action was pretty prompt.

But if there is no Wi-Fi section to the deal with plus net then I'm minded to continue, but I wanted to shake out all the pros and cons to decide.
