Failed payment system

According to the monthly email I get from Plusnet regarding my payment -
Subject: Advance notice of your Direct Debit payment :-

"If your payment should fail, we'll resubmit a payment request 6-10 days
after the failure has been confirmed to us."

In my experience this doesn't happen.

Yes, but your experience is of the case where you cancelled one direct debit, started a new one that hadn't had time to fully activate, and had credit card details that were being rejected by the bank.

Hardly a normal state of affairs. Not even close, in fact.

In any case, your DD payment probably didn't fail, because Plusnet didn't submit a payment request using the DD. They knew it wasn't active, so didn't bother.

I'm not sure what you're hoping to achieve by continuing this...

Trying to get Plusnet to acknowledge the faults and adjust things so other customers don't have to go through what I have had to.

I thought the saga had been resolved and acknowledgements made?

Has there been a change to your situation, or is this a complaint about the text of an email that is not personalised but a generic email to 100,000's of Plusnet customers.

If you wish to perform a debug/copy checking service for Plusnet best to do that direct with Plusnet
