It came in when they dropped Pro as a separate product (with it's very tight allowances) - this was when Extra and Value were launched. It could be added to any product (not NOT the old unlimited that they had to withdraw).

LOL, so you can. Starts a new 18 months of course, which Pro doesn't. But people wouldn't do it if worried by the 18 months. Incorrect as per Oldjim's post and my reply to that.

Doesn't pro also increase the priority in BTW's network or was that only for 20CN?

Pro never did that. You are getting mixed up with Max Premium which gives the faster uploads on 20CN and also gave higher priority on the BT network. The two are totally different and could exist side by side.

As jelv says. ASIU still available under some other moniker on WBC/WBMC (21CN) and IPSC (IPStream Connect).

Apparently not accurate http://www.plus.net/support/service/policies/product...
2. Residential standard broadband product changes
Rules for current products (Plusnet Essentials and Plusnet Unlimited)

With a contract
switching between products is free and won't effect the length of the contract
the contract cancellation fee will be recalculated based on the cost of the new product and the remainder of the current contract
switching to fibre optic broadband starts a new contract and is subject to the terms stated below
Without a contract
switching between products is free and customers can choose whether to start a new contract
switching to fibre optic broadband starts a new contract and is subject to the terms stated below

I was thinking of my move from Fibre Extra to Fibre Unlimited, when the new products came out.

Thanks.
