Update. Booted PC 7am. Had Broadband/Internet connection. Did a speed test with the same comparatively poor speed. Tried a BT Line Test from
https://www.bt.com/consumerFaultTracking/public/faul... The Broadband connection dropped so the test was never completed. That was between 7.15am and 7.20 am.
Contacted PlusNet and the call handler said he saw drops in connection from 9.10pm last night. He could also see numerous drops that I was experiencing late last night. Although two of the drops were caused by me power cycling the Router, he said that he could see about 20 drops.
Have new phone connected from the early hours of today (before 1am). Some very faint line noise at the moment but it was quite loud a bit earlier. Not sure if the stats are useful at the moment but I have posted below. As can be seen from the stats, the connection came back at about 7.25am.
Been told by PlusNet that I will get a telephone call from support today and informed that they do not start until 9am.
