That doesn't make sense - you should at least have had a line rental credit for that period. Did you ask?

at the time yes. but was told the line was working just noisy hence only if it was not working could I claim any compenseation..
Ok there is noisy and NOISY. Even used it to call plusnet who could only hear what I was saying if I shouted.
Oh well that is water under the bridge.
What I can say is that the level of their customer service at present is better now, so we will see.

I can see we've got your update on your fault ticket that is waiting for our faults team to pick up. We need to check over the engineer notes from the phone fault that was detected .
I've also added a free month's broadband service to your account for this.
