I'm not sure if they'd use DHCP or not as it's PPP not straight ethernet, more likely to be controlled by the Radius/AAA servers.
I've always commented this when people say DHCP given the use of PPP.

Surely the RAS will have its own pool distributed in the PPP frames, and no DHCP packets would be seen. Not that bothered to wireshark it though
