Re: Plusnet Current Line speed and BT IP Profile (FTTC)

Yep, sorry meant download speed.
Test taken today on this site
58.16 Mbps
This pretty much reflects the consistency of my regular speed. I note TB speedtests used to be around 64 Mbps up until around August last year when it dipped to its current level.
More curious than anything as the extra speed is not that big a deal.

Seems pretty consistent across them all.

That is odd but I'm going to ask the daft question - you're not testing using a wireless connection, are you?

Using ethernet all the way.
Well, at least it's consistent. Looked back at all my TB speedtests back to May last year and 66.58 Mbps was the highest but as I said they settled to their current level about end August last year.

66.58 would be about right, I wonder why you're losing that extra 8Mbps or so. It might be worth raising a fault for that.

If it were to decline I probably would, but twas more curiosity than anything as I recall it being faster. As it's quite consistent and fairly stable I don't mind, but thanks for your input and help.

Your IP Profile is 68 Mbps but your downstream throughput is 58 Mbps (that's is 10 Meg big gap) your throughput speed should be around between 64-66Meg.
